oh, those cleaners!

Tell me about your household cleaner…have you read the labels? Go do that really quick. Hop up and check. It matters, AND there’s an easy and chemical-free option!

Okay, also…tell me. What are you wearing? What are your babies wearing? Sleeping on? CLEAN clothes & sheets? What are you sleeping on? Does the detergent or fabric softener REALLY wash all the way out? What about the dryer sheets…..

Did you know the detergent you’re using may contain a cocktail of POTENT……cancer-causing chemicals?

Worse offenders: sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)/sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) (main ingredient in anti-freeze – google this stuff y’all, or at least read the source links I share in these posts!), 1,4-dioxane, NPE (nonylphenol ethoxylate), and Phosphates. Seriously, google these! But have your Young Living Stress Away handy, because, well. It’s alarming.

Seuss Class - cleaners

FACTS:

-these chemicals are in baby wipes! they are also in deodorants, toothpaste….

-these chemicals are engine degreasers, and antifreeze chemicals… with known long-term retention in the eyes, brain, heart, and liver AND are known neurotoxins…causing cancer, as well as other unknown side effects

-the typical American home contains 3-10 GALLONS of toxic materials—everything from glass and bathroom cleaners to garden pesticides and fertilizers.

-health effects of ingredients in common household products include: respiratory problems, eye irritation, cancer, disruption of the endocrine system, neurotoxicity

CRAZY, right? Read more here about how we are slowing killing ourselves because of our detergents.

The answer? Well, one answer is Thieves laundry soap from Young Living. Another is the natural, non-toxic Thieves Household Cleaner. Have you tried either yet? It’s always best to set up a wholesale account with the oils, and then add on these extra personal care products like detergent, baby care products, lotions, shampoos, toothpastes, etc.

What needs to change now, for the health of you and your family? I highly recommend the Young Living laundry detergent AND the cleaner. Let’s do it!
